WASHINGTON (KTRK) -- A letter a South Dakota girl wrote has convinced President Obama to pay a visit.

The letter's author is 11-year-old Rebecca from Vermillion, South Dakota. In a letter to the president, she drew a broken heart and wrote, 'This is my heart because you haven't visited South Dakota."

She went on to say, "We are the warmest of the Dakotas. We have Mount Rushmore, and when I just go to the park, I sometimes see coyotes, hawks, and bald eagles."

The White House learned of the letter and tweeted out a photo of it, saying 'Rebecca's heart can officially mend when President Obama visits South Dakota tomorrow."

The visit will mean President Obama will have been to all 50 states as president.
