Pit bull, puppies found abandoned along Manvel road

MANVEL, TX (KTRK) -- A dog and puppies were found abandoned on the side of the road, and now police are trying to figure out who would leave them there.

Manvel police posted pictures to Facebook. They say the female pit bull and her puppies were found in a crate on the side of the road.

The puppies didn't survive. They're asking anyone who may know who owned the dogs to give them a call.
