2 armed men sought in deadly home invasion in west Harris County

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Authorities are searching for two men wanted for a deadly home invasion early this morning in west Harris County.

Harris County deputies say the victim was just visiting the apartment where the incident took place overnight.

Deputies say two masked men armed with guns barged into the apartment on Kingsland near Westgreen around 12:30am. The victim and another man tried to fight back, but that's when shots were fired.

One man died at the scene as the gunman took off.
