Water spout forms near Crystal Beach

CRYSTAL BEACH, TX (KTRK) -- One of our viewers has quite a fish tale, and it doesn't have anything to do with the catch of the day.

Viewer Charles Wood was fishing on the Bolivar flats today when he looked up and saw a water spout.

The conditions were just right for the water spout to form near Crystal Beach, extending into the dark gray skies above.

What's more, today was Charles' birthday. Looks like he's got an interesting story to share on his special day.
