University of Houston gears up for NCAA baseball regionals

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The University of Houston baseball and their fans gear up for the NCAA baseball regionals.

The UH will open the NCAA regional with a head to head match against the University of Iowa.

This is the first time the Cougars will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Some bad weather delayed the Texas A&M versus Baylor regional. Texas A&M won that game 8-5.

The University of Houston baseball team is comprised of 23 new players and one senior.
