President Donald Trump delivered July Fourth remarks from the National Mall on Saturday evening, hours after the event was evacuated due to weather conditions.

Thousands of Houstonians watched the sky over Eleanor Tinsley Park for Houston's big fireworks celebration, Freedom Over Texas.
Those celebrating at home got to enjoy 24 hours of ABC13 special programming with "Disney Celebrates America."
Coverage from Friday evening to Saturday night featured non-stop parades, parties, and pictures of America's natural beauty.

Houston Mayor John Whitmire confirmed that the event commemorating America's 250th birthday drew in a record-breaking crowd.
Additionally, the fireworks show was longer than last year's and was reportedly the largest in Texas.
Officials are still working on the official number of attendees.



After the "Salute to America 250 Celebration & Fireworks" event in Washington, D.C., was delayed Saturday night amid thunderstorms, Freedom 250 officials announced that the National Mall will reopen at 9:45 p.m. ET "at President Donald J. Trump's direction."
Trump will deliver remarks at 11 p.m. ET, followed by fireworks, organizers said.
