HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- For America's 250th birthday, H-Town celebrated like never before!
Thousands of Houstonians watched the sky over Eleanor Tinsley Park for Houston's big fireworks celebration, Freedom Over Texas.
Those celebrating at home got to enjoy 24 hours of ABC13 special programming with "Disney Celebrates America."
Coverage from Friday evening to Saturday night featured non-stop parades, parties, and pictures of America's natural beauty.

"World News Tonight" anchor David Muir kicked off ABC News' celebration of America's 250th birthday by climbing up through Lady Liberty's right arm to reach the torch, standing over 300 feet in the air.
City officials advised that the fan walks for Morocco and Canada will impact traffic ahead of the teams' World Cup matchup at Houston Stadium on Saturday, July 4.
According to the Office of Emergency Management, the fan walks will impact traffic south of the Texas Medical Center and east of Houston Stadium between the hours of 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Officials said the following streets will be heavily impacted as thousands are expected to attend the festivities:
City officials advised motorists to seek alternate routes in the affected areas.
The Round of 16 matchup between Canada and Morocco is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Houston Stadium. This is the last 2026 FIFA World Cup match that will take place in Houston.

Dozens of small vessels will sail down the East River on Friday as New York City gets a preview of this weekend's major maritime celebration honoring America's 250th anniversary.
The Small Ships Parade serves as the lead-up to Saturday's "Sail4th 250" event, which is expected to draw large crowds to the city's waterfront.
Many of the participating vessels, known as Class B tall ships, have been arriving in New York Harbor over the past several days. While smaller than the tall ships featured in Saturday's main event, the vessels will offer spectators an early look at the historic flotilla.
The parade will travel south along the East River on Friday before the larger celebration gets underway Saturday.
