Trump's national security team gathered after US planes hit by Iranian fire

President Donald Trump's national security team gathered at the White House Friday evening, according to a senior White House official, following reports that multiple U.S. aircraft were struck by Iranian fire, including a fighter jet that went down in Iran.

Trump has been working in the Oval Office or Oval Office dining room throughout the day Friday receiving updates, the official added.

Trump is set to remain in Washington, D.C., throughout the Easter weekend.

Trump repeats suggestion of seizing Iranian oil

President Donald Trump is continuing to suggest that the U.S. could potentially seize Iranian oil.
