3-vehicle accident closes FM 1485 south of Highway 242

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A three-vehicle accident has closed FM 1485 just south of Highway 242 this morning.

The crash happened around 5:45am.

Several people had to be taken to hospitals. LifeFlight was also dispatched to the scene.

There's no word yet on what exactly caused the crash but police say they received reports of a car swerving just before the crash.
