Liberty police chief leaving for Tomball post

TOMBALL, TX -- Tomball will soon have a new man at the head of its police department.



The Tomball City Council approved the appointment of Billy Tidwell as chief of police during its meeting Monday night.



Tidwell will assume his new role beginning Nov. 10. He takes the place of Rob Hauck, who has been promoted to assistant city manager for the City of Tomball.
