KINGWOOD, TX -- A 75-year-old man is on trial in Montgomery County this week for allegedly sexually assaulting his wife's 16-year-old granddaughter nearly three years ago.

Jurors were selected Monday in the 221st state District Court and opening arguments were expected Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.

Robert Wayne Hill, 75, now of Kingwood, is accused of fondling the teenager at the end of her freshman year of high school, when she lived with her grandparents at their Porter residence on Pleasant Forest Bend.

The girl said she was alone at the residence with Hill in April 2012 when they were lying in the master bed watching television one evening. She said Hill touched her inappropriately, despite her requests for him to stop.
