Cop reunites with shooting victim he saved
An officer has been reunited with the shooting victim he saved on Weslayan two weeks ago

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Twelve days ago, Kevin Chap was on his way to work when he was shot during a shooting rampage in West University.



Chap was taken to the hospital after being shot at a strip center on Weslayan.

Kevin Chap has been reunited with an officer who helped save his life during the West U mass shooting


We've been following his road to recovery since leaving the hospital, framed by a warm hug from his little girls to now, a reunion with an officer who helped save his life.



Chap embraced the officer near the starting line for today's the Color Dash, a run he will participate in despite taking it slow as he walks along.
