KATY, TX (KTRK) -- Firefighters had their hands full overnight battling a two-alarm house fire in the Katy area.
The house on Highland Knolls, which is in the Memorial Parkway Point subdivision, caught fire around 1am.
Flames were already shooting through the roof by the time emergency crews arrived.
At one point, firefighters called for more manpower after learning someone may be trapped inside, but that turned out to be a false call.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
