Missing 87-year-old Houston man with dementia found safe

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An 87-year-old man who had been missing from his Houston home since early Monday morning has been found safe.

Jose Zavala was last seen at his home in the 8200 block of Barkley around 4 a.m. Monday.

Officials said just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Zavala had been located. They did not say where he was found.
