KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- In every tragedy, there is always triumph. This is especially true for a graduating senior at Cinco Ranch High School.
Claire Fortier was set to take her graduation photos for the Class of 2018 in August until Hurricane Harvey hit the area.
Her photographer, Nikki Guest, mentioned how their neighborhood was able to come together and help each other after the storm.
"It was such a devastating time for our community, but at the same time you saw neighbors helping neighbors and strangers helping strangers," Guest wrote on her blog.
Fortier was determined to have her senior photos taken in her family's flooded home. They are an important reminder to stay strong and positive in the midst of any situation.
Fortier is set to attend the University of Arkansas.
