Rockets forward Montiejunas done for the season

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- As the Rockets head into the home stretch of the regular season, they received another blow on the injury front.

Eyewitness News confirmed Wednesday afternoon that forward Donatas Montiejunas is done for the year with a back injury.

Montiejunas has missed the last six games because of the injury.

This season, Montiejunas has played in 71 games for the Rockets, averaging 12 points and and just under six rebounds per game.

Just last week, the Rockets learned they had lost starting point guard Patrick Beverley for the season.
