HPD: Shooting victim brain dead after SE Houston robbery

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A person is brain dead after being shot during a robbery in southeast Houston, police say.

Houston police say the shooting happened around 9:20am this morning in the 8000 block of the Gulf Freeway.

The Houston Police Department Homicide Division says the victim was taken to Ben Taub and is now brain dead.
