HPD officer accidentally discharges gun at Hobby baggage claim

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating after an officer's gun accidentally went off inside Hobby Airport.

HPD says an officer was in the baggage area when his long gun accidentally fired around 7:35 p.m. Thursday night.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
