Police find man shot outside Houston night club

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a man who was found outside an area night club.

The man was spotted by a Houston police helicopter as he laid unconscious outside the Palace Night Club around 1am Wednesday, near Bissonnet and the Southwest Freeway.

When police arrived on the scene, officers discovered the man had been shot.

He was transported to an area hospital, and is expected to survive his injuries.
