The abc13 weekend morning crew's 2016 RodeoHouston memories

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The abc13 weekend morning crew made a ton of memories at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this year.

While Mayra Moreno is a Houston native, Chauncy Glover and Elita Loresca hail from Alabama and California. Can Mayra get these two rodeo ready?

For Chauncey and Elita, it was there first rodeo. Mayra showed 'em around.

The team set out to make sure they had the right threads.

They made some interesting fashion choices, but in the end, they were set for a hot time at RodeoHouston.

Once at the rodeo, it didn't take long for the team's taste buds to begin salivating. From turkey legs to spare ribs, sausage and corndogs, the team couldn't resist. Good thing it was cheat day!

Oh, and who could pass up not one but two funnel cakes, with extra powdered sugar and strawberries?
