Two men detained after house goes up in flames in north Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We are working to get more information after two men were taken into custody after a house fire in north Houston.

Firefighters rushed to the home on Burress Street near Madie Drive before 8:45 p.m.

Investigators said two men have been detained, but we do not know why they are in custody.

Firefighters did not tell Eyewitness News what started the fire.
