HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A massive historic home is on the market in Houston for $18 million.

The home in the Rice/Museum District is described as "one of the most exclusive private residences in Texas." In addition to the $18 million price tag, the quarterly maintenance fee is $855.

The house was built in 1921, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, according to the for-sale post on Houston Association of Realtors website. It was designed by Harrie T. Lindeberg and his protege, John Staub, according to the real estate listing.

The restore home has five to eight bedrooms, five full bathrooms, three half bathrooms, and three garages. The home is in the Georgian style and is 12,808 square feet, located on 1.72 acres.

The home has a Jean Zuber 32-panel mural series of "Views of America" in the dining room. In addition, there is a grand entrance, a paneled library with a Tudor ceiling, a carriage house, pool house and manicured grounds.
