Bomb squad called to Hobby Airport luggage area after abandoned bag found

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A bomb squad went to Hobby Airport Wednesday evening after the baggage area was cleared for an abandoned bag.

Dozens of travelers were left waiting while authorities investigated the unattended luggage.

After about 30 minutes, authorities determined there was no threat and allowed the baggage area to resume normal operations.
