I-10 Eastbound now open at Pederson following fatal accident

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- I-10 was shut down in the Katy area at Pederson inbound due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian.

The wreck happened just before Highway 99. Traffic was jammed in the area throughout the morning.

There's no word yet on the person who died in the accident.
