Snoring remedies that you need to know about
According to the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, one in 10 Americans say that snoring has hurt their relationships.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- There is nothing worse than tossing and turning all night, but when you lose sleep because your significant other snores, that takes sleepless nights to a whole new level.

According to the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, one in 10 Americans says that their relationship has been hurt by a snoring significant other. So, Women's Day Magazine has tips on how to spoon without the snoring!

First, encourage your significant other to take a hot shower before bed to clear the throat and nasal passages, and then follow that up with a nasal rinse.

Next, no more back sleeping! If your partner isn't a side sleeper, get them a body pillow and have them hug the pillow to sleep.

Also, encourage lots of water consumption, especially before bed. Staying hydrated keeps the mouth and nose from becoming dry and sticky, which leads to snoring.

Finally, lay off the booze! It relaxes our throat muscles and can cause us to have a loud night. Now, if you really want a romantic dinner, make sure to cut off the alcohol four hours before bedtime so that you can still get some ZZZZ's.
