You wipe your face, body and hands on them, but you may not realize that the towel you use just after cleaning yourself is actually pretty filthy.
A study out of the University of Arizona found that nearly 90 percent of bathroom towels were contaminated with coliform bacteria and about 14 percent carried E-coli.
The same bacteria was also found on kitchen hand towels.
Researchers blame people who don't wash their hands thoroughly and not washing towels often enough.
