Maui snow recorded at lowest level ever in Hawaii
Tourists visiting the Hawaiian Islands expecting endless sunshine were treated to snow instead.

MAUI, Hawaii -- Tourists visiting the Hawaiian islands expecting endless sunshine were treated to snow instead.

State officials say snowfall was recorded at the 6,200-foot elevation mark in Maui.

That's the lowest it's ever been recorded in the state.
