Free hotel rooms for holiday visits to sick loved ones

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Everyone deserves to have company for the holidays, and one hotel group is offering free rooms so you can visit family and friends.

If you have loved ones in the hospital, in a nursing home or a treatment center during the Thanksgiving through Christmas holidays, you can get a free room at one of 14 Houston-area TMI Hospitality hotels.

This program has been going on since 1988, and was created to help bring together families and friends separated because of health issues.

Guests must contact the hotel directly to make a reservation.
