Maine-ly Sandwiches claims the title of World's Longest Lobster Roll

ATASCOCITA, TX -- More than 100 feet of freshly baked bread stuffed with Maine lobster, dressing and topped with cracked pepper stretched across the parking lot of Atascocita's Maine-ly Sandwich.

Starting around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, Maine-ly Sandwich employees started making the lobster filling and baking the bread in effort to create the World's Longest Lobster Roll.

They used their neighbor's oven at Johnny's Pizza which is constantly rotating allowing for all of the bread to bake at the same time.

When they finally constructed the sandwich that included 80 pounds of fresh Maine lobster, Maine-ly Sandwiches' giant lobster roll measured right around 106 feet long; winning the title of World's Longest Lobster Roll.
