HUMBLE, TX (KTRK) -- Firefighters are investigating the cause of a three-alarm fire that damaged at least seven townhomes in Humble.
The fire started around 3pm at the Countryside Village Townhomes. It took firefighters nearly three hours to get the fire under control.
Multiple fire departments including Humble, Houston and Ponderosa responded.
The townhomes are about a block from one of the Humble fire stations. Since the fire happened in the middle of the day, many residents were not home at the time.
No one was hurt.
The Red Cross is assisting residents who were affected.
