Recycle your car seat at Target through April 30

Turn in your used car seats to participating Target locations through April 30 to receive 20% off a new car seat.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Don't know what to do with those old, outgrown car seats that are sitting around the house? Now, Target has a new program to take them off your hands.

The Target Take Back is running through April 30, at participating locations.

Just simply bring your old seat to the Target recycling area and drop it off. In exchange, you will receive a 20 percent discount toward the purchase on a new car seat. The coupon is good through May 31.

The program is a new initiative between Target and TerraCycle to help keep car seats from ending up in landfills.
