Miracle baby celebrates first birthday after surgery in the womb

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- After being given a 50 percent chance of survival, Lynlee Boemer celebrated her first birthday this week.

Lynlee was 13 weeks away from being born when she had a tumor removed from her spine. At eight days old, she had a second surgery.

Now, she's home with her family in Lewisville and comes to Texas Children's Hospital for routine checkups.
