Meteorologist sneaks 9 'Star Wars' references into weather forecast

The Star Wars universe is about to explode with new stories that connect the final movie "The Return of the Jedi" to the upcoming sequel "The Force Awakens."

A Force is with a meteorologist in Britain after giving a weather report with a Star Wars twist.

Her report was filled with nine different references to the sci-fi movie series, prompting joy from the hordes of fans awaiting the movie.

Here's what she said:

"Hi there, well it's another unusually mild day today with a layer of cloud covering the UK. If you 'Luke' farther west, you will be seeing a glimmer of sunshine if you're 'Wookie.' However, there will be a fairly light breeze. The force is strong for northern Scotland and tonight, the weather strikes back as a deep area of low pressure creates storm-like conditions for western Scotland.

"Don't be a trooper. Please take care on the roads. Could be difficult driving conditions. Now, if you're forced to awaken early tomorrow morning, it will be on the dark side, but as you can see fairly mild.

"Far, far away towards the southeast of England, there is a new hope for sunshine developing in the afternoon."
