Officer transporting prisoner at DFW Airport get into altercation; one shot fired

DALLAS, TX (KTRK) -- An officer and inmate he was transporting were taken to the hospital after a shooting in a bathroom at DFW Airport Friday, according to airport officials.

The shooting apparently involved a law enforcement officer and prisoner he was transporting. The two reportedly got into an altercation in the restroom in Terminal C, with one shot fired.

Airport officials say it was limited to just those two people. No one else was injured.
