HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Brand new details in the Deputy Darren Goforth murder investigation have surfaced, thanks to a new subpoena filed by the defense attorney for murder suspect Shannon Miles.
In them, attorney Anthony Osso requests cell phone records between Deputy Goforth and a woman believed to be at the scene when he was shot, all receipts for gas purchases, and all records of communications made by Deputy Goforth the day he was killed.
Miles is accused of gunning down the deputy back in August at a gas station in northwest Harris County. Goforth, who was a member of the Harris County Sheriff's Office, was shot 15 times.
Miles appeared before a judge Monday.
