CoverGirl hires first ever male ambassador

CoverGirl cosmetics now has its first cover boy.

James Charles is a 17-year-old social media celebrity and he is now the cosmetic giant's very first male ambassador.

Music superstar, Katy Perry, made the big announcement on her Instagram account by posting a picture with the New York-based makeup artist.

Charles will appear in campaigns for CoverGirl's newest mascara, "So Lashy."

They call the popular beauty blogger and social media star a boundary breaker.
