Philadelphia police say a man going through a divorce drove his wife's Corvette into the Delaware River.

TACONY, PA -- Philadelphia police say a man going through a divorce drove his wife's Corvette into the Delaware River.

Officers responded to the Delaware River at Magee Avenue in the Tacony section of the city around 3:50 p.m. Monday.

Police tell Action News the 50-year-old Northeast Philadelphia man deliberately drove his estranged wife's Corvette into the river to get back at her.

According to witnesses, once in the water, the man was able to walk away from the river.

He has not been arrested as of yet, but is wanted for reckless endangerment and other charges.

The Corvette was pulled from the river around 5:30 p.m.
