HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Some Houston celebrities delivered a big Christmas surprise to some teenagers who were hit hard by the Harvey flood.

Rappers Paul Wall and Lil Keke, and social media star Athena surprised three teenagers attending Yes Prep public schools with shopping sprees on Wednesday.

Eden, Dabanese and Jason each received one thousand dollars to spend at the Galleria Mall courtesy of Cricket Wireless. All three students are classified as homeless. One student who works to help support four younger sisters was overwhelmed by this gift.

"Life is hard work like I said I've been working since I was 15 and it's hard to sometimes provide and also save for yourself and that's all I've been doing, but I'm very happy," said Eden.

All three of these students are heading off to college after graduation.
