Friends of murdered mom share personal videos with baby Shamali
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Friends of Carolina Flores are sharing personal videos between the mother and her newborn baby.
In the adorable video, Flores is shown talking to her daughter Shamali.
Investigators believe Erika Miranda-Alvarez fatally stabbed Carolina Flores, 33, and then took Shamali. The mother was found lying on the floor of her Greenspoint apartment with multiple stab wounds in her neck and head on Tuesday.

Police believe Miranda-Alvarez murdered Flores in order to take her newborn daughter after recently losing her baby.

Baby Shamali was found safe Thursday and police say Miranda-Alvarez admitted to taking Flores' cell phone and hospital wristbands from when the baby was born.
Miranda-Alvarez has been charged with capital murder.
