Woman carjacked while loading groceries in parking lot

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston woman was carjacked in a grocery store parking lot. Now police are looking for the car thief.

It happened around 7:45am Monday in the HEB parking lot in the 5800 Block of San Felipe at Fountainview.

According to a witness, the woman had just picked up groceries and was walking to her car when a white male wearing a gray jacket, jumped into her blue Chevy Equinox. He took off down San Felipe.

The woman was very shaken up, but not injured.

There's no word if a weapon was involved.
