DALLAS, TX (KTRK) -- A woman accused in a deadly butt lift injection surrendered to police on Wednesday.

Denise "Wewe" Ross, 43, had a warrant out for her arrest after the body of Wykesha Reid of Dallas was found at at Ross' salon. Ross shares the salon with Alicia "Jimmy Joe" Clarke, who also has a warrant out for her arrest for allegedly practicing medicine without a license.

Police say Reid went to Ross and Clarke's salon to get injections that would increase the size of her buttocks, ABC affiliate WFAA-TV reports. Reid didn't know Ross did not have medical credentials to perform the injection, police say.

Reid died on February 19 after suffering a medical emergency, according to detectives. Her body was found in the salon the next day.

A judge set Ross' bond at $50,000. Her business partner, Clarke, is still on the run.
