Schlumberger facility given all clear after bomb threat

ROSHARON, TX (KTRK) -- Brazoria County authorities are investigating a bomb threat at a Schlumberger facility in Rosharon.

Company officials say a package containing a bomb threat was received. The facility's 500 employees were evacuated and sent home for the day.

By 5pm, first responders gave the all clear and allowed the facility to resume normal operations. A company spokesperson says employees will be informed to return to work on Friday.
