HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Homicide detectives are trying to determine what led to the mysterious murder of a man inside his north Harris County apartment.
Deputies say a friend of the victim called 911 at about 11am in the 13100 block of Stonefield. That friend had become worried after not being able to get in touch with the victim by phone. Detectives say the door was unlocked and the friend found the 25-year-old victim inside.
It's not clear yet what happened or how the victim was killed. Investigators are talking to people at the apartment who knew him. So far there have been no arrests and detectives have not released any information on any possible suspects.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
