Giant sapphire to be unveiled at Museum of Natural Science
The beautiful blue stone will be on display to the public Mar. 3-24.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One of the world's largest blue sapphires will be unveiled at the Houston Museum of Natural Science Saturday.



The "Siren of Serendip" was discovered in Sri Lanka. It weighs 422 carats and is set in a necklace with 913 diamonds.



The beautiful blue stone will be on display to the public March 3-24.
