Bill King ordered to jury duty after Houston mayoral election

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Serving on a jury is an important civic duty for everyone, including those running for mayor.

Houston mayoral hopeful Bill King is expected to report for jury duty at Westside Municipal Court.

King is hoping to succeed Mayor Annise Parker after voters elevated him into a December runoff election with State Representative Sylvester Turner.
