UT mascot Bevo diagnosed with cancer, will retire

AUSTIN, TX (KTRK) -- Officials at the University of Texas say Bevo 14 is retiring after being diagnosed with cancer.

School officials say Bevo will retire immediately. Veterinarians diagnosed him with bovine leukemia. UT says the search for Bevo 15 will begin immediately.
