Fire starts in grease trap at Benjy's restaurant

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Firefighters got control of a grease trap fire at a popular restaurant along Washington Avenue in Houston.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. at the Benjy's restaurant.

Firefighters told ABC13 that the fire started in the grease trap above the ovens.

The restaurant sprinklers took care of most of the flames.

We're told the damage is minimal.
