Person of interest in Baytown murder may be driving victim's red Mercedes

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- Baytown police are looking for a man they believe may know something about a murder, and they say he could be driving the victim's Mercedes.

At 11:40am Tuesday, officers arrived at Rosemont Apartments in the 6000 block of Garth Road for a welfare check. Upon arrival, they discovered a 54-year-old resident had been killed inside his apartment.

Baytown police detectives are seeking Raymond Joseph Riley, 28, as a person of interest in this homicide and have reason to believe he may be in possession of the victim's red 2007 Mercedes C230. Riley is described as 5'10" tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, with a Chinese symbol tattoo on the right side of his neck. The missing Mercedes has tinted windows and Texas license plate number DP6W810.
