The store on Sage is closing, and the merchandise will be moved into the store on Hidalgo Street.
The move will also eliminate 136 jobs, but Macy's said it will work to give some of those employees jobs at other stores in the Houston area.
Saks Fifth Avenue will move into the space on Sage that Macy's currently occupies. Saks' current location will be turned into space for dozens of retail shops.
