League City police say two burglary suspects were arrested in an attempted burglary, and one of them is quite familiar the neighborhood.

Police were dispatched around 2:45pm Tuesday to a home in the 200 block of Stonewall Drive after someone reported hearing glass breaking. When officers arrived, they found one suspect in the back yard and another inside the home.

Both suspects tried to run away but officers were able to arrest them. And that's when they realized one of them, 18-year-old Jeremy Jones, lives just a few houses down from the home being burglarized.

Both Jones and the other suspect, who is a juvenile, were charged with burglary of a habitation. Jones' bond has been set at $10,000.
